Preparing for the exams:

If you have been doing product marketing or product management for many years or have an MBA you will likely have enough knowledge to pass either the CPM or CPMM exams, though you may want to study some to refresh your memory. If you are newer to either discipline you'll want to do some extensive preparation. Either way, you'll want to have the following books on your bookshelf as a reference in your day-to-day work.

  • Cancellations received more than 5 business days before the certification tests will be charged 50% of the cost.
  • Cancellations received less than 5 business days before the certification tests will be charged 100% of the cost.
  • No transfers are allowed.
  • The 280 Group reserves the right to cancel the certification test with 5 business days notice. In this case all fees paid will be fully refunded. The 280 Group will not be responsible for any other expenses incurred by attendees, such as non-cancelable airline or hotel fees, etc.
