A four day comprehensive Product Management & Product Marketing training course covering the entire product lifecycle. Overview:
The PM Fast Track Training is the most practical and effective training course available, and is used by thousands of customers worldwide. It gives Product Managers and Product Marketers a thorough, in-depth and instantly applicable knowledge of every phase of the product lifecycle. This course is ideal for new or mid-level PMs or for Senior PMs who want to
brush up on best practices and thoroughly learn the methodology in the Product Manager's Toolkit™ . This course is highly practical and interactive and include real-world examples and exercises to ensure students gain a solid understanding of the material. Based on the 280 Group Product Manager's Toolkit, the PM Fast Track course covers all of the toolkit templates and methodology so that upon completion attendees will have the skills and corresponding templates and tools necessary to be excellent Product Managers and Product Marketers.The course is also very useful for senior managers who may need to organize their department, define job roles and optimize their processes. 
The PM Fast Track is is taught by Senior 280 Group consultants who are all doing real-world product management and marketing every day (not full-time trainers who may have lost touch with the day-to-day realities of the job). Our trainers/consultants apply the 280 Group methodology in their consulting engagements with clients throughout the world, and are continually refining it based on best practices. All trainers have at least 20 years of product management and product marketing experience, and are able to teach and apply time-tested techniques as well as the latest tactics being employed at client sites.
Schedule:

The first two days (Monday & Tuesday) cover Strategic Product Management, and are the basic foundation of both Product Management & Product Marketing. This is an intensive two-day interactive course that covers the world of high-tech
product planning and product marketing. The course is based on the Product Manager's Toolkit ( PMTK)
Action Model, a reference framework that outlines the process and stages
of performing and correlating product marketing tasks with product planning
tasks

The next day (Wednesday) covers Procedural Requirements Management. Ambiguous market requirements lead to flawed products and unhappy customers.
Well-defined market requirements are the basis for a smooth development
process and marketplace success. This training course teaches how to
deliver well-defined requirements to guide your team and overall development
efforts. It presents effective practices that
clearly identify and articulate market requirements. The outcome is
a Market Requirements Document that truly meets customer and market
needs.

The fourth day (Thursday) covers Business and Market Planning. Companies that consistently win plan the direction of a business well
in advance so that the products and services it provides meet overall
business objectives. This training course demonstrates how to
formulate plans that prioritize and evaluate business opportunities
and guide marketing efforts such as writing a business case and the
resulting marketing plan.

- Four Day Intensive Course. Classes are highly interactive and include hands-on assignments and discussion of results to ensure attendees thoroughly learn and retain the information.
- Product Manager's Toolkit (PMTK)License ($99 value) including over 30 MS Office templates
- Content retention tool (software to help aid retention of material)
- A one-time free registration to each of the available BPMP certification tests. Two attempts to pass any BPMP test are granted per each registration. ($400 value).

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be received in writing.
- Cancellations received more than 5 business days
before the first day of training will be charged 50% of the training
cost.
- Cancellations received less
than 5 business days before the first day of training will be charged
100% of the training cost.
- Transfers will be allowed.
The 280 Group must receive the notice in writing from the initial class
registrant with the name of individual who is receiving the transfer.
- The 280 Group reserves the right to cancel the training
with 5 business days notice. In this case all fees paid will be fully
refunded. The 280 Group will not be responsible for any other expenses
incurred by attendees, such as non-cancelable airline or hotel fees, etc.
